I share some thoughts about my grandma.

It was nine feet high and six feet wide and soft as a downy chick. John Denver and the Muppets even sung about it.

Well, I’m not really sure if my grandma ever had a feather bed, but she was special to me. I can recall going to her house frequently and getting grilled cheese. She lived at the other end of the block and across the street. She didn’t just mean alot to me through my stomach. She taught me a bit how to crochet. She frequently made me clothes. She got our first computer. She was pretty awesome. She also had a dog named Michael. I taught Michael a few tricks one day. My dad would frequently stop at her house for lunch. We would go on walks with her and have all sorts of fun.

When she passed away, I don’t recall crying at the funeral but I do remember crying quite a bit the night before or after. I miss her grilled cheese.
